Structure, Sign and Play

Without sounding “Sassurian,” let’s look at the world of discourse in our age of intolerance and uber-propaganda. Somewhere in our not too distant past, humanity lost control of its senses. It’s as if an opaque veil covers our vision to what’s complete and real. We fall for regurgitated political rhetoric, and destructive pop-culture symbolism that pushes us further into a blind momentum downward.
I am a persona of solutions, hence the quick recommendation is to stop in your tracks and consider what is self, structure and ultimately the signifiers behind our daily motivations. Undoubtedly those motivations are the same ones followed by those before us. Like the inevitable pants worn by your father and by the unknown male you will see on the street today, what motivates you is nothing new. So, change your trousers I say. Stand naked before the world and watch the truly insignificant structures tumble. It takes just one.
