The Un-American WaySeveral weeks ago some risque roadside billboard posters got banned in a small hamlet. The mighty lords were depicted, artistically I might add, in a sexually naughty, but politically appropriate position. This prurient display supposedly offended the masses, especially women's rights efforts, so to avoid further scandal the posters were removed immediately. Thus the villagers and the mighty lords lived happily ever after. Only the village idiot, Gimpel the fool, displayed outrage, but he was quickly and inconspicuously silenced. He now serves as comic
relief for the soldiers in Iraq. Some may find it hard to believe that this little tale did not unfold in America but in the far away land called Europe!
In other news, I expressed my vision for a particular shoot and my lovely models, Vixey and Phoenix appeared magically in my studio. The day, cold, windy and inhospitable played a trick on us all, as the intermittent light made the perfect softbox. There are more shots in the gallery space. Let your mind take you where ever it wants, maybe 1958, maybe 1967. If it takes you somewhere in the past, then I achieved my goal. If not, just enjoy it and let it drink you in as opposed to the opposite. Befuddled? Post your comments or questions, I will answer most.
About the Photos:
Models: Vixey & Phoenix; Location: Florida, USA; Date: 02-12-06; Photographer: Jose Faro
Video Clip: (on youtube). This link was sent to me by BaddyBee. She apparently thought it whimsical. I thought it showed a good reason to switch from shorts to spandex and a jockstrap undergarment. For shame on the videographer (LOL) for shooting this on National TV. Poor male athletes have absolutely NO PRIVACY whatsoever! [Watch Video]
