Today I received a personal email from world renown Europe-based, photographer LeeAndrew. After such a long U.S. tour I was pretty tired the past 2 days, but this email definitely lifted the spirits. I had no idea that LeeAndrew, an American, was the artist behind the very sensual calendar featuring players from The Italian National Firemen Rugby Team. I'm sure there is no other calendar like it, for the men are sexy firemen who are also part of a successful rugby team! With most of the beefcake calendars out there, it's either or, never all in one! But that's not what grabbed my attention. The fact that LeeAndrew is donating a portion of the proceeds to hurricane Katrina relief, in particular for victims in the Missisippi delta region, the area of LeeAndrew's origins. This calendar is one of those items that you should buy 2 of, one to give away and the other to keep. It's perfect for the holiday season. Did I mention that the models--well they're actually real hardworking fire fighters and seasoned athletes--are very handsome. ADDENDUM
LeeAndrew contacted me a few days ago to inform me that the Fire Bureau in Italy as well as the Vatican have given him flack about publishing this calendar! It's the human body people! What do they have to fear! Perhaps they are afraid hordes of men will start lusting after these sexy fire fighters. Well, I'm sure it's already too late! Stay strong LeeAndrew the world of open minded real humans of the earth support you and your efforts!
